The Ministry of National Education made statements about the transition from face-to-face education to distance education as a result of the recommendations of the Scientific Committee and the evaluations made at the Presidential Cabinet Meeting within the scope of covid-19 measures.

The written statement made by the Ministry of National Education is as follows: “As a result of the recommendations of the Scientific Committee and the evaluations made at the Presidential Cabinet Meeting within the scope of the Kovid-19 measures implemented throughout our country, some new decisions were taken on the transition from face-to-face education to distance education. According to this:

  • Full-time distance education will be introduced at all grade levels in primary schools.
  • Full-time distance education will be introduced at all grade levels of secondary schools (except 8th grade).
  • Full-time distance education will be introduced at all grade levels of high schools (except 12th grade).
  • Grades 8 and 12 will be able to continue face-to-face education.
  • Support and Training Courses and reinforcement courses organized for 8th and 12th grades and graduates will continue, including on Saturdays and Sundays.
  • Pre-school education institutions will continue to present face-to-face education.

In order for our schools to make the necessary preparations, new decisions will be implemented from Thursday, April 15, 2021.
