In this context, Ortahisar Municipality, which first took the areas that could be parks on Kanuni Boulevard on its agenda, resolved the issue by discussing with the General Directorate of Highways.
Meeting with General Manager of Highways, Abdülkadir Uraloğlu from Trabzon, Ahmet Metin Genç, Mayor of Ortahisar, said, “We worked on 2 determined areas to make the Kanuni Boulevard more aesthetic. We thank our General Manager of Highways. We have received the allocation of these areas to our municipality. "We made separate parking and application projects for 2 separate areas," he said.

Noting that they also met with the General Manager of Highways Uraloğlu about the Boztepe viaduct, which still causes controversy in Trabzon, Genç said, “The area where that viaduct entering Boztepe is located, both the columns and the ground will be transferred to us by the General Manager.
