IMM made arrangements in public transport within the scope of the 29-day curfews that will start as of the evening of April 17. IETT flights will be made according to the Saturday schedule. In the subways that will serve on certain lines, the number of morning and evening flights will be increased according to the passenger density. City lines, on the other hand, will continue to serve at their normal schedule.

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality organized public transportation services within the scope of the general curfew to be applied from 29:19.00 on Thursday, April 17 to 05.00:29 on Monday, May 2021. In order to prevent healthcare professionals and citizens who have to work due to their mandatory duties during the restriction period; As of April XNUMX, XNUMX, IETT flights will be carried out according to the Saturday schedule. Depending on the passenger density, morning and evening flights will be more frequent.

TIMES WILL BE COMPACTED IF NECESSARY

IETT, which has prepared its plans in this direction, will operate according to the "Empowered Saturday" voyage schedule for 17 days. The flights will be made between 04.30 in the morning and 00.25 at night, especially in the morning and evening, reinforcement flights will be organized at peak hours. During the restriction where passenger data will be monitored regularly, the plans will be revised frequently by making the necessary additions or deletions to the required lines. IETT will keep sufficient number of vehicles and drivers available in garages to reduce possible densities.

Metrobus services will be made frequently on weekdays. More than 580 thousand flights will be organized with 6 vehicles per day on the metrobus line. There will be a trip every 06.00 seconds between 09.00-20 in the morning, every 09.00 seconds between 16.00-30, every 16.00 seconds between 19.00-20, once a minute between 19.00-22.00 and every 06.00 minutes between midnight and 10 in the morning. In the Metrobus line, passenger traffic will be monitored and changes will be made in the voyage planning, the voyage intervals will be increased or decreased if necessary.

METROS ON SPECIFIC LINES WILL SERVE

During the restrictions, the lines determined in the rail systems will be operated at intervals of 06.00 minutes between 21.00-15 hours, and the trips will end as of 21.00. The number of passengers in the subways will also be monitored on a daily and hourly basis and new arrangements will be made in the frequency of flights if needed.

The rail system lines that will serve during the restriction are as follows;

  • M2 Yenikapi-Haciosman
  • M3 Kirazli-Olympic-Basaksehir
  • M4 Kadıköy-Tavşantep to

  • M7 Mecidiyekoy-Mahmutbey
  • T1 Kabataş-Bağcı on
  • T4 Topkapi-Masjid-i Selam
  • T5 Cibali-Alibeyköy Pocket Bus Station

During the restriction, the following rail system lines will not be operational:

  • M6 Levent-Hisarüstü / Boğaziçi University metro,
  • F1 Taksim-Kabataş funicular,
  • T3 Kadıköy-Fashion tram,
  • TF1 Maçka-Taşkışla cable car,
  • Our TF2 Eyüp-Piyer Loti ropeway lines will not be operated.

During the restrictions, City Lines ferries will continue their regular schedule. As of 17 on Monday, May 06.00, all lines will start normal flights.
