Five people were killed and two injured when a passenger train hit a truck and motorcycle trying to cross the railway crossing in Shahjahanpur, Uttar Pradesh State of India. Three of the five people who died in the accident belonged to the same family.

A passenger train crashed into a truck and a motorcycle at the Hulasnagla uncontrolled railway crossing in the Shahjahanpur region in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. In a statement made by Shahjahanpur regional officials, it was stated that at around 05.00:5 local time, at least 3 people died as a result of a passenger train crashing into a truck and a motorcycle trying to pass through the crossing. Three of the five people who died in the accident belonged to the same family. Stating that the injured were taken to hospitals and treated after the accident, the officials noted that there was a delay of nearly 200 hours on the train line due to the accident. In addition, regional officials announced that the Regional Administration will pay bonuses of 2 Indian Rupees (INR) ($ 665) to the families of the deceased.

On the other hand, the local people, who reacted strongly to the accident, stated that the ongoing repair work in the passage where the accident took place was not completed for a long time, and it was claimed that the accident was common due to the dust cloud constantly rising in the passage.
