Organized by the American Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, the Oscar Awards found their owners for the 93rd time this year.

Nomadland, whose music was composed by Ludovico Einaudi and Olafur Arnalds, achieved a historic success at the Oscars held in Los Angeles. Won Best Film, Best Director and Best Actress awards. Nomadland, which premiered at the Venice Film Festival in September 2020, portrays the American nomadic spirit and impressive history with an impressive narrative.

Nomadland's soundtrack album includes five original songs heard only in the film, as well as impressive compositions by Ludovico Einaudi and a new track by Icelandic talented composer Olafur Arnalds.

Soul, one of the most talked about animated films of the past year, won Best Music and Best Animation awards. The story of the movie Soul takes place in New York City, two very different locations, and “Previous World”, a spiritual cosmic realm. The musical reflections of these two different worlds are undertaken by Jon Batiste with original jazz compositions, and Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross, who establish the connection between the real world and the spirit world.
