SunExpress Became The First Airline Company To Receive Orange Circle Certification

SunExpress became the first airline company to receive a certificate in the Orange Circle hygiene certificate application initiated by Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in partnership with the Izmir Foundation.

İzmir Metropolitan Municipality has expanded the scope of the Orange Circle certificate program given to food and beverage and accommodation businesses that fulfill the necessary criteria in the past weeks and allowed airline companies to receive certificates. Auditing at international standards

Under the coordination of İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Department of Foreign Relations and Tourism, airline companies hygiene inspection criteria determined by the Tourism Hygiene Executive Board, International Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Agencies Association (IATA), European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and Civil It was created considering the Aviation Authority (SHGM) standards.

Every stage before and after the flight is inspected

Among the air travel hygiene inspection criteria; "Precautions to be taken by businesses", "waste management", "What to do if there are suspicious passengers showing Covid-19 symptoms during the flight", "Precautions to be taken during and after the flight", "ventilation, cleaning and disinfection of the aircraft" and "accommodation flights ”. Airline companies are also inspected on site for compliance with hygiene standards of their operation areas.
