Expert Physiotherapist Gökhan Aygül gave information on the subject. It is the harmony and proper alignment of all body parts (head, trunk, arms and legs) during various activities such as standing, sitting, walking.

Our entire body alignment is provided by the loads transferred to the ground through both feet. In all our posture habits that we take during our daily life, our feet are transferred to the ground while standing, and with our hips during sitting. All the loads we carry through our body throughout the day must be met by the correct body segment.

Every part of our body is interconnected. If something is wrong somewhere, the whole body is affected. Take, for example, someone who stood hunched over for a long time; In this long-term wrong posture, the shoulders of the person gradually roll forward and the load on the chest increases, this may cause difficulty in breathing, the abdominal muscles become shorter, the back and waist muscles otherwise stretch and become weak, these muscles have difficulty in carrying the load and cause back pain. why could it be. Over time, this condition can affect the hips, knees and feet because our bodies are linked like a chain system.

Although the reason for a bad posture (posture) is thought to be psychological conditions (unhappiness, loneliness, fatigue), the muscles that are not used or used incorrectly over time weaken and progressively become permanent.

It should not be forgotten that staying still for a long time causes negativity in our posture. The human body is programmed to move. Whether you are a desk worker or constantly working does not indicate that you have to have waist, neck or back pain for a lifetime, the important thing is to add movement to your life in the right time and in the right way.

Posture disorders can also cause the following diseases;

SCOLIOSIS

Scoliosis is shortly spine curvature. The cause of scoliosis should be well investigated in order to establish the correct exercise program in scoliosis. Scoliosis is not only due to muscle imbalance, weakness or tension. There is a belief that the cause of scoliosis is unknown. For a good evaluation in scoliosis, cranial (head) bones, iliopsoas muscle, diaphragm, muscle imbalances and organ functions should be evaluated carefully. Visual disturbances should also be questioned in scoliosis. Finding the true cause of scoliosis brings us closer to our goal. With proper exercise planning, we have a chance to get rid of scoliosis without surgery.

WHAT IS KIPOSIS

Kyphosis is a condition in which the spine bends forward. In fact, the spine is already curved (kyphotic) in the back area and a lordotic appearance in the waist area. Here, kyphosis occurs when the forward curvature of the back rises above normal (more than 50-60 degrees) or the cupping in the waist improves (decreases below 15 degrees) or disappears.

TEMPOROMANDIBULAR JOINT DISORDERS

Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ, lower jaw joint) is a syndrome of pain and dysfunction involving the masticatory muscles. The harmony between the joint surface and the disc is disturbed. Jaw joint disorders have affected a widespread population today.

The most working and complex joint of the human body is the jaw joint, which has a very developed mobility. Jaw Joint Disorders show symptoms such as tinnitus, ear, head, face and eye pain, and today it has affected a common segment.

Temporomandibular Joint Disorders are recurrent pain in the jaw joint and / or chewing muscles or joint dysfunction. The main reason of this problem, which can occur for various reasons, is the loss of harmony between the surface of the jaw joint and the disc in the joint.
