As it is known, after the spread of the Corona virus pandemic in our country as well as in the whole world, measures were taken by various institutions to prevent the spread of the virus, and TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. and the train operation on the Mainline and Regional lines was suspended.
TCDD Taşımacılık A.Ş. Emphasizing that the measures taken to prevent the spread of the virus by taking initiatives before the relevant institutions are vital, it was requested to show the necessary sensitivity both in healing and in writing, and the measures were requested to be implemented.
Finally, BTS Adana Branch and Mersin Provincial Representation were asked to take all necessary precautions in accordance with the pandemic conditions, especially the Adana-Mersin regional train services, and to start them as soon as possible.
In the past time, many railway workers, including BTS members, have been infected and unfortunately we have friends who lost their lives.
It is clear that the corona virus is still a serious danger all over the world. In this context, although there is a decrease in the prevalence of the virus, the news that the relaxation of the measures will affect more people than the decrease of the virus is worrisome.
For a while, BTS has expressed their opinions and demands by making attempts at the relevant institutions in order to start the mainline and passenger trains.
Although he finds the decision to start the mainline and regional train services positively, taking into account that the warnings and requests made by BTS with the letters sent to the relevant institutions on various dates remain the same, it must be made by taking all measures for the protection of the employees and the citizens who will use the railways from the virus.
