The newest member of the Porsche 911 family, the GT3, is introduced. The 911 GT3, which Porsche uses its racetrack experience into daily use, offers an extraordinary driving experience with its advanced aerodynamics and high performance. Offering 510 PS, the new 911 GT3 accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in just 3.4 seconds and has a top speed of 320 km / h.
Porsche introduced the 911 GT3 model, which it developed with its motorsport expertise. The high-performance sports car demonstrates Porsche's flawless racing technology. GT3, double wishbone front axle layout, swan-neck rear wing, the successful GT racing car 911 RSR model with aerodynamic features developed with a new diffuser; The 375 kW (510 PS) four-liter six-cylinder boxer engine is based on the powertrain used in the 911 GT3 R, which has proven its success in races based on durability. With a top speed of 911 km / h, the new 3 GT320 is faster than the previous 911 GT3 RS model and reaches 3,4 km / h from 100 to XNUMX km / h in just XNUMX seconds. The aerodynamic design, developed using the experience gained from motor racing, creates more downforce without significantly affecting the air drag coefficient. In the performance position, manually adjusted wing and diffuser elements significantly increase aerodynamic pressure when cornering.
17 seconds faster
Tested on the Nuerburgring-Nordschleife circuit, a traditional location for all sports cars developed by Porsche, the New 911 GT3 completed the lap in 17 seconds less than its predecessor, achieving a better rating. Test pilot Lars Kern completed the 20,8-kilometer tour in 6: 59.927 minutes, while the 20,6-kilometer short track, which was previously used as a benchmark, completed in 6: 55.2 minutes.
More muscular appearance
Despite a wider body, larger wheels and additional technical features, the weight of the new GT1,418, which is 1,435 kg with manual transmission and 3 kg with PDK, is at the same level as the previous model. Carbon fiber reinforced front hood, lightened windows, optimized brake discs and forged light alloy wheels offer significant weight-maintenance advantages. The lightened sports exhaust system is another weight-reducing innovation. In addition, the electrically adjustable exhaust wings provide an extremely exciting sound experience. The average fuel consumption of the 911 GT3 is 6 liters / 13,3 km with the 100-speed manual gearbox and 12,4 liters / 100 km with the PDK.
Racing genes moved into the interior
The racing genes are revealed in almost every detail of the new 911 GT3. Digital displays on the left and right of the central tachometer, which reaches up to 10.000 cycles, show information such as tire pressure gauge, oil pressure, oil temperature, fuel tank level and water temperature with a single button. There is also a visual shift assistant and shift light with colored bars to the left and right of the rev counter.
GT3 specific options
Especially for Porsche GT models, customers are increasingly demanding customized equipment. Therefore, with the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur, unique options are also offered for the new 911 GT3, such as a lightened roof made of exposed carbon fiber.
Other highlights include carbon exterior mirror caps, darkened LED matrix headlights and specially designed taillights without red components. Guards Red or Shark Blue painted wheels accentuate the black alloy wheels. Inside, hardware details such as rev counter dials and Sport Chrono stopwatch, seat belts and trim strips create stylish design accents in body color or any other desired color.
Chronograph exclusive to GT3
Porsche Design's special chronograph, offered exclusively to high-performance sports car customers, is as exclusive as the 911 GT3 itself. Like the GT3, the chronograph has a dynamic design, consistent performance and high quality craftsmanship. Its body reflects the Motorsport genes. Just like the piston rods of the GT3 engine, it is made of sturdy, lightweight titanium. The chronometer is supported by an independent coil rotor reminiscent of the wheels of the 911 GT3. The colored ring of the dial can be customized in the paint colors of the 911 GT3.
