Audi's premium offered for sale in Turkey with successful representative of the fourth generation of the A3 compact class. The new A3 Sportback, which is an exemplary model of digitization in its class, is available with two different body options, namely the Sedan. Both bodies have two trim levels and two different engine options.
Having succeeded in being one of Audi's best-selling models since its introduction in 1996, the Audi A3 was launched with its fourth generation.
From the instrument panel to its signature headlights, from infotainment systems to driving assistance systems, it represents the ultimate in digitalization of the premium compact class. With the new A3 dynamism, it is noticeably improved compared to the previous generation.
Offered for sale in two different body types, Sportback and Sedan, the new A3 is available in 1,5-liter 4-cylinder TFSI and 1-liter 3-cylinder TFSI engine options and in two different equipment levels.
Sporty design details
Both body types of the fourth generation of the A3 have compact proportions and a sporty design. The single-frame grille and large air intakes at the front reveal its dynamic character. The shoulder line runs in a soft line from the headlights to the tail lights. The area below becomes more curved and the fenders look powerful.
Digital daytime running lights, offered with optional Matrix LED headlights on both bodies, stand out as another innovation. The sporty and sophisticated design is also evident in the interior: the new gear, aluminum or carbon inlays, striking door locks and the dashboard with a black panel look are the highlights.
Compact and useful
Both body options of the new A3 offer more space and more functionality, despite their compact dimensions.
With a length of 3 meters and a width of 4,34 meters (excluding mirrors), the A1,82 Sportback has grown a little more than 3 centimeters compared to its predecessor. The 1,45-meter wheelbase of the model, which has a height of 2,64 meters, remains unchanged. 380 liters of luggage space reaches 1.200 liters when the rear seat row is tilted.
The new Audi A3 Sedan is just over 3 centimeters taller than the A15 Sportback. The trunk capacity of this body, which has all the same dimensions, is 425 liters.
A3 Sportback opens / closes electrically; While the A3 Sedan is offered with a power-operated boot, both models have the feature of a tailgate that can be opened with a foot movement, with the optional Comfort Switch.
Driver-oriented digitalization
The new Audi A3, whose cockpit focuses entirely on the driver, features elements that are accustomed to see in the brand's top-class models. The 12.3-inch touch screen integrated in the middle of the instrument panel is standard with the Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus in both body options. In addition, the instrument panel can be controlled by the driver via the digital and multifunction steering wheel.
Speed in information and entertainment
Featuring the MMI operating concept supported by the new third generation modular infotainment platform, the New A3 offers a computing power that is 10 times faster than the previous generation. LTE Advanced offers a fast phone and an integrated Wi-Fi access point. Up to six information can be stored in the user profile, from individual settings, climate control and seat position to frequently selected navigation destinations and favorite media. The new Audi A3 can be connected to the user's smartphone via the myAudi app, Apple CarPlay or Android Auto and Audi Phone Box.
Two different engine options
The new A3 TFSI engine is offered in 2 different in each body type to be the same in Turkey.
The first engine option is the 30 TFSI. This 3-cylinder, 1-liter engine produces 110 hp and 200 Mn of torque. The model, offered with a 7-speed S tronic transmission, reaches a speed of 0 to 100 km / h in 10,6 seconds. The A3 Sportback with this engine has a top speed of 204 km / h, while this value is 3 km / h in the A210 Sedan.
The second engine option is the 35 TFSI. This 4-cylinder 1,5-liter engine gives 150 hp and 250Nm of torque. This model, which transfers power with a 7-speed S tronic gearbox, takes 100 seconds to reach 8,4km / h from a standstill. The top speed of the model is 224 km / h in the Sportback body type and 232 km / h in the sedan.
New equipment, new levels
The new A3 body type in Turkey can be taken both at the level of two different hardware. The first trim level is Advanced, previously known as Design, and the second trim level is the S Line, previously called Sport.
Leatherette upholstery, Smart Phone Interface, Audi Virtual Cockpit Plus, Audi Phone Box, 2 USB ports in the rear, Lane Departure Warning, Parking Assistant, Pre Sense Front and Pre Sense There are comfort and safety features such as Basic Anti-Collision Systems, Front-Rear LED headlights, Dynamic Signal, Audi Drive Select, e-Call, which were not found in the previous generation.

The new generation of A3 has the distinction of being unique in its class with many elements. The Park Assistant, which is offered as standard in the A3 Sportback and A3 Sedan, makes a difference with its 2-zone automatic air conditioning, metallic color, panoramic glass roof, wireless charging unit, front seat heating and keyless entry features offered with the optional Comfort Package.
In addition, the 4-way lumbar support adjustment in the Advanced equipment level of both body options and Adaptive Cruise Control in the S line equipment option are among the firsts in this class.
