İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs is starting a renovation work on the pedestrian overpass that provides pedestrian access between Konak Square and Bahri Baba Park. In the pedestrian overpass, which was transferred from the Regional Directorate of Highways to Izmir Metropolitan Municipality in July 2019, the damaged wooden floor will be removed and renewed. The work, which will cost 547 thousand liras, will begin on March 10, 2021 and will be completed within 45 days. During the works, the overpass will be closed to pedestrians. Pedestrian transportation between Bahri Baba Park and Konak Square will be provided from Konak Metro Station.
