It was announced that at least 32 people died and 66 were injured in the accident that occurred as a result of the collision of two trains in Sohag, Egypt. The Ministry of Health announced that 36 ambulances were sent to the accident site and the injured were taken to the hospital.
The last train accident occurred in Egypt on 9 December 2020 and 22 people were injured in the incident.
