Konya Metropolitan Municipality commissioned by Turkey, which TÜBİTAK funded the first science center in Konya Science Center, 8 to 14 March Science and Technology Week, so schools established in Ankara's countryside with TUBITAK "Science and Technology Meet" program made.
STUDENTS GET TOGETHER WITH SCIENCE THROUGH WORKSHOP
The activities organized in Bezirhane Şehit Eyüp Ensar Ulaş in Gölbaşı district and Üçevler Aytekin Keser in Elmadağ district were attended by TÜBİTAK President Prof. Dr. Hasan Mandal also attended.
With the expression of Konya Science Center instructors; 186 students participated in the workshops through educational materials in coding, life sciences, mathematics and design. Students who had the opportunity to interview with the President of TÜBİTAK Mandal had the pleasure of asking directly to the President of TÜBİTAK about their curiosity about science. In addition, information was given about TUBITAK Projects in the conversation, and students were encouraged on this issue.
Konya Metropolitan Mayor Uğur İbrahim Altay stated that Konya Science Center continues its activities in order to endear science to people of all ages, from 7 to 70. Stating that they have carried out various activities jointly with TÜBİTAK within the scope of Science and Technology Week, Mayor Altay said that they are happy to bring students in rural areas together with science.
KONYA METROPOLITAN MUNICIPALITY MEET WITH SCIENCE TIRI STUDENTS
Interactive exhibition mechanisms within the Science Truck of Konya Metropolitan Municipality were explained to the students in the activities where disadvantaged students were brought together with science. Later, in the science demonstrations held by the instructors, the students interacted with cutting-edge robots and observed the state changes of matter through liquid nitrogen.
ONLINE TRIPS HELD WITH THE VIRTUAL TOUR PROGRAM
On the other hand, free visitors coming to the Science Center during the "Science Days" held in the Konya Science Center main building; workshops, science shows and exhibitions were held. In addition, 8 exhibition galleries, workshop and laboratories area and planetarium were explained to the participants by the trainers in the live "Science Centers Virtual Tour Program".
