The Weight of Women in the Automotive Sector Will Increase with the Electric Car Revolution. GÜNSEL is a Good Example Giving Clues to This Transformation.

Although automotive is perceived as a male-dominated sector, this situation will change greatly in the not too distant future with the transformation of electric cars. Electric cars will enable women to find more space for themselves in the automotive industry, as technology and software-oriented initiatives. GÜNSEL, the domestic car of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus, is a good example to see this transformation.

The Power of GÜNSEL: Women

GÜNSEL, which develops and produces electric cars from scratch, is also a technology company compared to conventional automotive companies. Because software and applications stand out as the main components of XNUMX% electric cars. Moreover, electric car manufacturers such as GÜNSEL are planning to transform into one of the most important service companies of the future, not only because of their production style, but also with a business model based on "mobility", one of the rising concepts of our age. For this reason, at GÜNSEL, women are not only in traditional departments such as human resources or corporate communication, but are directly at the center of production and R&D.

Approximately one third of GÜNSEL employees are women. As designer, industrial design engineer, procurement engineer, project engineer, automotive engineer, mechanical engineer, composite engineer, cabling engineer, women take responsibility in many different units of GÜNSEL, from R&D to production. Women who work as project managers and team leaders during the development and production phase of GÜNSEL have an important contribution. With the transformation, women will be more visible throughout the automotive industry!

Tuba Güven Zurnacı: "We Aim to Increase Female Employment Even More in GÜNSEL"

Tuba Güven Zurnacı, Founding Board Member of GÜNSEL, says that electric car companies will be the leading companies with the highest female employment rate. Saying that women lead each unit of GÜNSEL by taking responsibility, Zurnacı said, “We will continue to increase women's employment at GÜNSEL. GÜNSEL's doors are open to women who want to change the future ”.

Speaking with her 7-month-old baby in her arms, Tuba Güven Zurnacı said, “GÜNSEL is an exemplary company where you can climb the career ladder without compromising your woman and mother personality. "The increase in the number of such companies will also pave the way for women to be better represented in the business world." Celebrating the day of his female colleagues and all women from GÜNSEL, Zurnacı wishes "I wish a future that women will come to the fore with the success they have signed, not with the violence they go through".
