Goodyear has developed a concept tire for Toyota Aygo X Prologue with a tough-looking design and high performance.
Toyota introduced its newest concept car, the Aygo X Prologue, with custom-made Goodyear tires with laser-engraved sidewalls. This small crossover model, which will represent Toyota's vision in the A segment for years to come, is the final link in a series of collaborations between Toyota and Goodyear on innovative concept projects since 2003.

Crossovers represent a rapidly growing segment of the European car market. Offering the agility and versatility of small vehicles and the space, comfort and suitability of large SUV vehicles, these cars combine the best of two different types.
The Toyota Aygo X Prologue, a perfect example of this trend, is a bold re-take of the A segment. Aygo X Prologue's bold, eye-catching design combines fun with mobility. Its strong stance adds expression to the vehicle, while the ground clearance of the vehicle makes it suitable for all road conditions.
One of the outstanding design features of the Aygo X Prologue is its Hexagonal DNA, which adds a new expression to the fog lights, lower grille and taillights. Goodyear, working closely with Toyota designers, brought this look to the tread and sidewall design of the tires. Still, the tires add more than a striking design to the Aygo X Prologue.
Vrijsen said the following on this matter; “Goodyear has developed a special laser-engraved cheek design for the Aygo X prologue. The result is an equally hard and durable tire that matches the design and functionality of the Toyota Aygo X Prologue. ”
Toyota European Design and Development Department Design Director Lance Scott said; “As before, we entered into a creative collaboration with the Goodyear design team for the tires of our latest concept car. "Dynamic tread pattern and high-tech cheek details fully reflect the spirit of the Aygo X Prologue, while contributing to the look and dynamic forward movement we aim for this design."
