Stating that the High Speed Train Workshop will be held on Tuesday, March 16, 2021, Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry (STSO) Chairman Mustafa Eken said, "It will be a workshop with a wide participation in which all stakeholders will participate."

Our President, Mustafa Eken, drew attention to the importance of the 'Fast Journey to the Future - High Speed Train' Workshop and said, “High speed train is a great gain for Sivas. Sivas, which develops and continues to grow, will gain even more momentum with the high-speed train ”.

Our President Eken noted the following; “With the opening of the High Speed Train line between Ankara and Sivas, we know that the region will develop rapidly and the lives of the people in the region will change. A person in Istanbul will be able to come to Sivas in 4 hours. You can go to Ankara in 2 hours. 2 million foreign citizens come to Sivas annually. Around 800 thousand tourists come. We estimate that this number will reach 5 million with the arrival of the high-speed train. There will be a great increase in tourism revenues. Of course, we will have to prepare our city and tourism areas according to this situation. In order for these to be realized, we need to work in unity and solidarity so that YHT contributes to our province in terms of economic and promotion. If there are deficiencies, we need to identify and create solution suggestions. Before the voyages begin, we must prepare our city in every sense. Everyone, from our tradesmen to our institutions and NGOs, should do their part. For this reason, as Sivas Chamber of Commerce and Industry, we are holding this workshop. YHT started test drives. It comes to Sivas YHT Station. Our people saw the arrival of YHT and are impatiently waiting for it to become operational. As STSO, we will organize a workshop in coordination with the provinces where High Speed Train services start to prepare Sivas for the high speed train. In this workshop, we will define a roadmap in many areas from health, industry, trade to education. We will consider our existing services in a wide range of areas such as urban transportation, health institutions, restaurants, hotels, tourism areas, and districts, and we will start work to eliminate the deficiencies, if any. We will collect the results of our workshop in a booklet and distribute them to relevant places. I hope the 'Fast Journey to the Future - High Speed Train' Workshop brings good results to our city.
