EGO General Directorate, in collaboration with Ankara City Council, started to provide sign language training to drivers using public transportation vehicles and security personnel working in rail systems within the scope of the "I Learn Sign Language Project". A total of 3 drivers and security personnel will learn sign language in the online trainings that started on “March 3, World Ear and Hearing Day”.

EGO General Directorate started trainings within the scope of the "I Learn Sign Language Project" prepared in cooperation with Ankara City Council.

With the "Sign Language Training" that started on "March 3, World Ear and Hearing Day", drivers working in public transportation vehicles and security personnel working in rail systems will learn sign language.

EDUCATIONAL MATERIALS WILL BE PUBLISHED ON PUBLIC TRANSPORT VEHICLES

2 thousand 532 transportation personnel working in EGO Bus Operation Department, 200 in Private Public Buses (ÖHO) and 400 transportation personnel in Private Public Transportation Vehicles (ELV) and 786 security personnel working in the Transportation Planning and Rail System Department for 5 months. will be educated.

A total of 3 drivers and security personnel will participate in online training in the presence of expert trainers. The didactic material and posters prepared at the end of the training will be posted on stations and public transportation vehicles, and the videos will be broadcast on public transportation screens.

DRIVERS ARE SATISFIED WITH HEARING LANGUAGE TRAINING

The drivers using public transport in the capital and the security personnel working in rail systems stated that they could help hearing-impaired citizens thanks to the training, and they found the training useful:
