Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that they extended free public transportation support to healthcare workers until June 30, and that as the Metropolitan Municipality, they will continue to be with the healthcare professionals who work devotedly.
In his statement, Mayor Büyükkılıç reminded that in order to support healthcare workers during the pandemic process, healthcare workers benefit from private public buses and public transportation services, including districts, free of charge.
Noting that the decision taken for free transportation will expire on 31 March, Mayor Büyükkılıç stated that they have reviewed the situation again, and that they decided to extend the time by 3 months, taking into account the pandemic conditions.
Mayor Büyükkılıç once again thanked the healthcare professionals who showed great heroism during the pandemic process and said, “Our healthcare professionals who have made great sacrifices in this difficult process will continue to use public transportation vehicles for free. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we will strive to be with our healthcare professionals ”.
