The General Directorate of Turkish State Railways (TCDD) issued a high voltage warning for some lines in Sivas within the scope of electrification works.
In the statement made by TCDD, it was stated that the electrification lines between İhsanlı TM-Hanlı Stations and Sivas TM-Sivas Gar railway electrification lines, which were completed within the scope of the installation of electrification facilities on the Kayaş-Çetinkaya line section, will be supplied with a voltage of 19 volts as of Friday, March 27.
In the statement, it was stated that traveling under the electric train overhead lines, touching the poles, climbing, approaching the conductors and touching the falling wires are dangerous in terms of life and property safety due to high voltage.
