With the latest decision, citizens over the age of 65 and under the age of 20 will be able to use public transportation at times when there is no curfew. With the new application, people over the age of 65 can be heard from 10:00 - 14:00; Young people and children under the age of 20 can go out on the streets between 14.00:18.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX.

After the meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Istanbul Governorship Provincial Hygiene Board, which met on Wednesday, March 3, took new decisions regarding public transport within the scope of coronavirus measures.

According to this; In Istanbul, in the high risk group, citizens over the age of 65 and young people and children under 20 will be able to use public transportation when there is no curfew.

With the new application, people over the age of 65 have no curfew between 10:00 - 14:00, and youth and children under 20 between 14.00:18.00 and XNUMX:XNUMX; It will also be able to use public transportation vehicles such as bus, metro, tram, metrobus, ferry, minibus, and minibus.

Students / teachers / employees of the institutions that provide formal education services under the Ministry of National Education with administrative leave, those over 65 and under 20 will be able to use the public transportation vehicles on the relevant route during the school entrance and exit hours outside these hours. These people are required to carry the documents containing the institution address given by the educational institutions and the study / course program.

In line with the decision taken by the Governorship of Istanbul, public transport was banned from the age of 15 and under the age of 2021 as of January 65, 20, within the scope of coronavirus measures.
