The Ministry of Family, Labor and Social Services continues to contribute with vocational training courses organized for the participation of disabled citizens in the labor market through İŞKUR.

In this context, Aysun Çalkaya and Murat Girgin participated in the Vocational Training Course with Employment Guaranteed under the Vocational Education and Skills Development Cooperation Protocol (MEGİP) organized in cooperation with Eskişehir İŞKUR Provincial Directorate, Arçelik and Anadolu University Integrated School for the Handicapped.

Learning the theoretical part of the course at Anadolu University Integrated School for the Handicapped, and the applied part at Arçelik, Aysun and Murat started working at Arçelik A.Ş. He started work in the company.

During the course, we designed 100 parts, did 16 assembly work, learned 120 new technical words, also applied for 12 patents and won 5 patents. If we hadn't received this training, we wouldn't have been able to work in such a place. We love our job and workplace. Fortunately, we attended this program, ”he said.

Stating that they learned the equipment that can be used in the R&D department within the scope of the project, Girgin said: “We received many trainings for working in the workplace. With these works, we also broke the thoughts that the hearing impaired cannot do. "

“We had a team of 5 people,” Çalkaya said about his work in the course. With what we learned in the course, we designed a 'hearing hat' that will solve the problems we encounter on the road as hearing impaired individuals and can be used by all hearing impaired candidates. It vibrates from the direction of the sound. In this way, we were able to protect ourselves by using hats in hazardous areas for the hearing impaired. "

Giving information about the work they carried out within the scope of the course, Çalkaya continued as follows: “We had a team of 5 people. With what we learned in the course, we solved the problems we encountered on the road as a hearing impaired individual and designed a hearing hat that can be used by all hearing impaired candidates. When we could not hear the horn of my car coming from behind on the road by wearing a hat, there was a sound sensor and vibration on the right, left and rear. We were able to protect ourselves by using hats in hazardous areas for the hearing impaired by vibrating from the direction of the sound. "
