Polimer Teknik, the manufacturer of twin screw extruders rotating in the same direction, has launched a new product series that will support scientific studies. Poex T16 Scientific, designed as a laboratory line for R&D studies as well as optimizing new product formulations in the plastic, chemical, food and pharmaceutical industries, stands out as a twin screw extruder with the smallest screw diameter produced by Polimer Teknik. Thanks to its modular structure, which allows the line, screw and shaft sets to be changed in a few minutes, it offers ease of use and high operating flexibility.
According to the statement made by Polimer Teknik, “Screw and barrel material with sufficient strength is chosen depending on the application conditions and the materials to be processed in the new generation compound line. In addition, depending on the process conditions such as very low viscosity chemical reactive extrusion where extra sealing protection is required, high temperature and abrasion resistant gaskets are used between the sleeves based on R&D studies. Depending on the process, degassing degasifiers, side feeders, melt pressure sensor mounting points can be produced with blind plugs. On the lines where gravimetric dosing systems can be integrated optionally, filling and minerals can be fed easily and with high precision. "
In this scale, density lines as Germany, Taiwan, Turkey Technical Polymers are imported from America, but is now creating a domestic partner as a response to the composite industry. In addition, with its years of experience, Polimer Teknik continues to support its customers in technical matters such as screw design and configuration suitable for the material process to be worked on.
