Polatlı Ankara Public Transport Vehicles Inspected

EGO Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak, together with Bus Operations Department Head Yahya Şanlıer, inspected the public transportation vehicles and the operating system on the line between Polatlı and Ankara. Then he visited the bus station where EGO and Private Public Transport Vehicles (ELV) are located.

Tekbudak, who even met with the drivers on duty and received information about the density of passengers and the problems they face, stated that the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicles that provide public transportation services in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic we are in. Emphasizing the need to pay attention to passenger transport rates, Zafer Tekbudak also pointed out the importance of behavior towards citizens in public transportation. Reminding that one should always be understanding, patient and respectful to the citizens under any circumstances, Tekbudak underlined that they are very sensitive about the behaviors towards the citizens as the management.

Then, he went to the Polatlı Bus Station and checked the waiting areas of the passengers and drivers, whether the seats in the vehicles were comfortable for the passengers, and whether the disabled elevators were working. Tekbudak, who also met with Erdal Çınar, the Chairman of Polatlı Public Buses and Road Passenger Transport Cooperative, and some tradesmen, exchanged views on what should be done to increase the service standards of the existing public transportation system. Expressing that they are very pleased with the meeting, Erdal Çınar and the tradesmen of the region thanked Deputy General Manager Zafer Tekbudak and Head of Department Yahya Şanlıer and said that they believe that the service will improve with mutual cooperation.
