Wondering about exams

The calendar of exams that cannot be held for the first term at all grade levels in high schools will be determined and planned by the board of directors of the educational institution, not exceeding 1 weeks from 2 March.

The necessary measures will be taken by the directorates of the educational institutions and the exams will be implemented and all the work and transactions related to the first term will be completed by entering the e-School system until Friday, March 19.

The scope of the exams that could not be held in the first semester will be limited to the topics covered until November 1, 2020. Students who cannot participate in the exams for any reason and whose excuses are deemed appropriate by the school administration will be taken to the exam on the date to be determined by the relevant field teacher. Exam dates will be announced to the students at least one week in advance and will be recorded in the e-School System.

Planning of responsibility exams

Responsibility exams will be planned by the educational institution directorates to be completed in the period 1-31 March.

In order to reduce mobility between provinces, students who are not included in the scope of face-to-face education will be able to take exams in educational institutions of the same school type with the school they study in the settlements where they are located in the TRNC, or in public and private schools that implement the same program, if they do not. In vocational and technical secondary education institutions and fine arts and sports high schools, students can take the exams in provinces and districts close to their residential areas, provided that they have the same school / program type / field / branch as the school they are registered in.

In this context, in order for the schools to make the necessary preparations and planning, the parents of the students will notify their requests in this regard to the relevant school directorate in the province of their residence by stating the courses to be taken for the exam until Friday, February 26, and inform the school principal where the students are studying.

Planning of second term exams in high schools

The scores for the second semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, regardless of the number of weekly course hours, the student's exam score for each course, performance study score and the performance score for class participation, and the course and subject of the first semester are determined and given to the student's second-term course teacher. will be determined by the project assignment score.
