President Recep Tayyip Erdogan made statements after the Presidential Cabinet Meeting. Declaring that the gradual normalization calendar will begin at the beginning of March, President Erdoğan said, "We will classify our provinces as low, medium, high and very high risk according to criteria such as cases and vaccination rates."

Stating that they re-evaluated the course of the epidemic in detail at the cabinet meeting, Erdogan said, "While we have very good photos in some cities, we have seen that in some cities the distress is still at serious levels." said.

President Erdoğan emphasized that this calamity will be overcome by working hand in hand with the state and the nation and by following the precautions.

Expressing that vaccination studies are continuing rapidly and more than 5,5 million vaccination campaigns have been completed at the moment, Erdogan said, “Almost this is unique in the world. This work was succeeded in Turkey. On the one hand, the scope of the first vaccine groups was expanded step by step, on the other hand, the second vaccination process started. We have already reached the number of 5 million 700 thousand vaccinations. We have made the necessary connections regarding the vaccines that we will need in the first place, and we are carrying out the supplies piece by piece. he spoke.

Stating that they closely follow the local vaccine development activities, which they attach great importance to, President Erdoğan said:

“March will be a month when we will go a long way in vaccination and hopefully see really high numbers. In this context, we are starting the gradual normalization process as of the beginning of March by dividing our provinces into 4 groups according to the criteria set by our Ministry of Health. We will classify our provinces as 'low', 'medium', 'high' and 'very high risk' based on criteria such as case and vaccine rates. We will carry out the normalization calendar accordingly. "

President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stated that steps will be taken to relieve the tradesmen who have to take a break from their work due to the epidemic measures, and said, "The road map of the steps that will relieve our tradesmen such as restaurants, cafes, cafes and similar will be announced in the coming days." said.

Pointing out that the situation of students who still continue their distance education activities will be evaluated according to the number of cases in the provinces, Erdoğan made the following statement:

“Starting from the weekend practice, we are gradually removing the curfew restriction according to the case, vaccination and other relevant criteria in our provinces. The important thing here is that the number of cases is constantly decreasing in all our provinces. The more our citizens are careful about this, the more sensitive they behave and the more they improve the outlook in their own provinces, the faster the normalization calendar will advance. Turkey, a country that is truly a global epidemic crisis successfully carried out. With a little more patience and a little more sacrifice, we stand in a place where this scourge is no longer a threat. "

At the end of his speech, President Erdoğan asked all citizens to support the work carried out.
