Hyundai KONA, which was put on the market as a renewed last December, has now acquired the most powerful version 1.0-liter T-GDi engine after 1.6-liter gasoline and 48-liter diesel 1.6V Mild Hybrid engine option. This performance engine, offered with two different hardware options, N Line and Smart, makes the New KONA the most powerful model in its class.

Expressing his opinions about the new model, Hyundai Assan General Manager Murat Berkel said, “The new KONA is one of the most important models of the B-SUV segment in 2021, as it did last year. We are now offering a powerful and dynamic version of our new model, which we started with economical engine options in the first place. KONA N Line, with its athletic structure and turbo engine, will give our customers a very exciting driving pleasure in daily use ”.

Hyundai KONA is considered an icon in its segment with its bold, advanced design and adventurous personality. Standing out with its renewed front design, sporty details and eye-catching plastic additions, KONA offers a stronger look with its elongated engine hood. Improved LED daytime running lights provide a narrower and more impressive appearance. The downward bumper is also softly connected to the plastic fender parts. The new KONA is 40 mm longer and wider than the previous version in terms of its dimensions. With this increase, it offers a more elegant and dynamic appearance. In the interior of the car, seats with the N Line logo, gear knob and accessories draw attention.

KONA, which has N Line and Smart versions in February, increases the driving pleasure with its performance 1.6-liter turbo gasoline engine. Especially bringing the taste of hot hatch to the B-SUV segment with the KONA N Line, Hyundai keeps this claim fresh with dynamic and racing elements. Standing out with its more aggressive front and rear parts, body color coatings and 18-inch special rim design compared to the normal version, the KONA N Line also has a larger and wider rear bumper with air intake. The N Line version, which looks different from its other siblings with its unique design, continues the sporty atmosphere with its double outlet end silencer positioned at the rear right. In addition, Hyundai N wings are also included in the rear corners for better air flow.

High performance in the B-SUV segment

The 1.6-liter gasoline engine makes Hyundai KONA the most powerful car of its class with 198 horsepower it produces. Thanks to this turbocharged engine, KONA, which accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers in 7.7 seconds, attracts the attention of users who expect power and performance. In Turkey, only 4 × 2 drive system and 7-speed dual clutch transmission (DCT) option available with this engine, between 1600-4500 rpm and produces a maximum of 265 Nm of torque. With these technical features, the car, which can reach 210 km / h, consumes an average of 100 liters of fuel per 5.6 km, despite its performance.

The new KONA has also undergone a series of chassis updates for a smoother ride compared to its predecessor. The suspension has been re-tuned to improve driving comfort, without compromising the KONA's sporty character. In addition to the springs and shock absorbers, the stabilizer bars have been changed for better driving comfort and better sound insulation.

Hyundai KONA 1.6 T-GDi 7DCT Smart is offered for sale with a label of 314.600 TL and 1.6 T-GDi 7DCT N Line with a label of 346.800 TL.
