The Long Walk-5B Y2 missile, which will carry the main module of the Chinese space station, was taken safely to the Wenchang spacecraft firing center in Hainan Province on Monday, February 22.

Both the missile in question and the main module named Tianhe, which has been transported to Wenchang, will be assembled and tested at the said vehicle launch center, according to the China Manned Space Agency (CMSA). A total of 11 missions are envisaged over the next two years to build the Chinese space station. These missions include the construction of the main module scheduled to be launched into space in the first half of this year, according to the China National Space Agency.

The China Manned Space Flight Agency (CMSA) also announced that the installation and equipment at the Wenchang space launch center were in good condition and preparations were carried out as planned.
