After the recently introduced new BMW M3 CS, BMW M4 CS and BMW M2 CS, the BMW M5 CS is preparing to take its place at the top of the M model family. The 5-liter TwinPower V4.4 engine of the new BMW M8 CS produces 6000 hp at 635 rpm and 1800 Nm of torque in the 5950-750 rpm range, making the model the most powerful model in BMW M history. Drivelogic eight-speed M Steptronic transmission and M xDrive all-wheel drive help transfer the enormous power of the new BMW M5 CS to the road, while offering only rear-wheel drive mode for those who want pure driving performance.
Power from lightness
The lightweight design resulting from a delicate work allows the new BMW M5 CS to be around 5 kilograms lighter than the BMW M70 Competition. Thanks to its low weight, the new BMW M5 CS can complete acceleration from 0-100 km / h in just 3 seconds, while reaching a top speed of 305 km / h, which is electronically limited.
The hood, exterior mirror caps, rear spoiler, rear diffuser, M Power engine compartment cover and muffler used in the new BMW M5 CS are made of carbon fiber reinforced plastic that contributes to weight reduction, which directly affects the performance of the car.
Individually configurable driving dynamics
The new BMW M5 CS allows both the M xDrive system and all dynamic driving components to be configured individually so that the desired driving characteristics can be selected. The power transfer of the M xDrive system to the rear wheels adds extraordinary agility to the car, while the power distribution can be switched between the front and rear wheels. In addition, the responses of the DSC system can be adjusted so that more driving characteristics can be selected. Offering the freedom of choice for drivers thanks to 4WD and 4WD Sport as well as 2WD mode for rear-wheel drive, the New BMW M5 allows all the pure driving characteristics of previous generations to be exploited. Thanks to the COMFORT, SPORT and SPORT + modes offered in the Variable Damper Control (VDC) system, drivers have many different driving options from daily use to high performance track driving.
Exciting design
The charismatic M5 CS emblems are located on the BMW kidney grille, air vents and the tailgate, while the 20-inch M alloy wheels reinforce the sporty design of the model with its Golden Bronze color. The L-shaped lights of BMW Laser headlights illuminate yellow instead of white when the low beam, high beam or welcome light is turned on, referring to high-performance GT racing cars.
Standard features of the new BMW M5 CS include a four-tailpipe sports exhaust system made of stainless steel, which allows the engine to roll in an exciting M-specific sound. In addition, the M Carbon ceramic brakes, which come with calipers that can be preferred in red or gold, are among the features that come as standard.
The new BMW M5 CS is getting ready to hit the road with three different color options. Also presented at the new BMW M5 and M5 Competition, Brands Hatch Gray will be the common color of the M5 family. In addition, Frozen Brands Hatch Gray metallic and Frozen Deep Green metallic colors can be preferred with the BMW Individual matte coating exclusively for the new BMW M5 CS.
Details that maximize driving pleasure
The driver and passengers in the M Carbon seats enjoy the ultimate driving experience in the new BMW M5 CS, while the black Merino leather inlays feature Mugello Red decorative stitching. Integrated headrests featuring illuminated M5 logos for the front seats reflect the silhouette of the legendary Nürburgring track. The gearshift paddles on the M Alcantara steering wheel are made of carbon fiber, while the black chrome trims used on the steering wheel's spokes emphasize the extraordinary performance of the new BMW M5 CS.
The 5-inch infotainment screen used in the new BMW M12,3 is also featured in the new BMW M5 CS. Thus, drivers can easily use the many features of the BMW M xDrive all-wheel drive. You can quickly switch between ROAD and SPORT settings using the M Mode button. Thanks to this feature, it is possible to quickly switch to TRACK mode, as in the new BMW M5 Competition, by holding down the M Mode button and then confirming the prompt on the central display.
