TCDD Tasimacilik is preparing to take an important step regarding high-speed train services and ticket sales days within the scope of the gradual normalization that will start on March 1. Accordingly, passengers will be transported in high-speed trains with 100 percent capacity from March.

Since May 28, 2020, high-speed trains have been traveling with 50 percent capacity, leaving the side seats of passengers empty, with sparse seating within the framework of coronavirus measures.

According to the news of Olcay Aydilek from Habertürk; “Regulations regarding ticket sales are also expected. Prior to the epidemic, high-speed train tickets were offered for sale 15 days before the departure.

During the epidemic period (considering possible cancellations and changes), tickets started to be sold 5 days before the flight. This period will be adjusted as 15 days again.

WHEN WILL THE MAIN LINES OPEN?

Will the main line and regional trains start again? In Turkey, at the start of the outbreak in March 2020, mainline and regional trains were stopped altogether. Almost a year has passed since then.
