TEMSA and its sister company, Škoda, which won the electric bus tender in Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, will deliver their fleet of 14 buses at the end of this year. The contract, worth approximately 10 million dollars, will also be the first electric bus delivery that TEMSA will realize together with its sister company Škoda.
The European launch of TEMSA brand electric vehicles, a product of Turkish engineering, continues. The company, which realized the first electric bus export to Sweden in the past months with the partnership of Sabancı Holding and PPF Group, this time turned its route to Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic. In this context, TEMSA, which signed the electric bus fleet contract of Prague Transportation Company with the cooperation of Škoda Elektrik within Škoda Transportation, will deliver the fleet of 14 buses at the end of this year.
The fleet of modern, environmentally friendly and sustainable vehicles will contribute to the city's achievement of a cleaner and livable air while reducing carbon emissions. The contract, worth approximately 207 million kroner ($ 10 million), will also be the first electric bus delivery that TEMSA will execute with its sister company Škoda.

Electric buses, which will be called Škoda E'CITY, differentiate with their features such as easy charging and remote control of battery status with the support of new generation technologies. This charging equipment, which is called 'the technology of the future' due to its environmental and low cost advantage, makes it possible for a longer and more comfortable journey.
About E'City
The new electric bus E'City is designed with a length of 12 meters and a speed of 80 km / h. The vehicle, which has a guaranteed range of more than 100 kilometers on a charge, is completely low-floor, emission-free, battery operated. The charging of the vehicle with a charging power of up to 150kW is carried out using a double-arm pantograph in the vehicle and a built-in galvanically isolated charger directly from the 600V / 750V DC network. Thanks to the plug in the tank, the vehicle has the option of charging at night, the air conditioning and heating feature is completely electronic and the driver's cabin is closed due to high safety requirements. The vehicle, which includes strollers, wheelchairs and special areas for passengers with reduced mobility, will be equipped with a modern information and check-in system, including automatic passenger counting and roller shutter equipment, and a camera system for passenger safety will be included in the vehicle.
