UTIKAD Member Receives the World Customs Organization Certificate of Merit

UTIKAD, the International Transport and Logistics Service Providers Association, nominated UTIKAD member Arkin Obdan for the World Customs Day Certificate of Merit, which is given by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce under a different theme each year. The Ministry of Commerce celebrates January 26, World Customs Day, with a different theme each year, with the World Customs Organization Certificate of Merit Award Ceremony. In this context, public and private sector professionals nominated by institutions are rewarded.

The 2021 theme of the Ministry; Dedicated to the efforts of the customs administrations to overcome the crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and their support to the people and the business world, it has been designated as "Customs in Supporting Revival, Renewal and Resilience in Sustainable Supply Chains".

Nominated by UTIKAD for the World Customs Organization Certificate of Merit, UTIKAD Customs and Warehouse Working Group President and Obdan Sistem Antrepoculuk ve Taş. Tic. Arkın Obdan, the Head of the UTIKAD Customs and Warehouse Working Group, who took an active role in the works for the healthy and efficient execution of the important supply chains in the country as both a customs consultant and warehouse operator; At the same time, it continues to contribute to the resolution of issues affecting the supply chains of our country with its works within the framework of UTIKAD and Trade Facilitation Coordination Committee, to produce solutions by providing complete and detailed answers to questions about logistics and customs clearance within the scope of committee meetings, and to make efforts to facilitate the processes in favor of our country. Obdan, as well as CLECAT and also in international fora such as the members of FIATA UTIKAD successfully representing our country in Turkey's efforts to improve the supply and logistics chain.
