Istanbulkart, which offers contactless payment opportunities in many areas other than transportation with the vision of "City's Life Card", added the ŞOK Market, which has 1.897 branches, to its network in the new year. Citizens will be able to top up their cards in ŞOK Markets in Istanbul. It will also be able to pay the shopping amounts with Istanbulkart.

Istanbulkart, a product of BELBİM AŞ, one of the affiliates of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM), has developed in the field of transportation with the vision of 'City Life Card', and has doubled its non-transportation usage network in the last year. Growing rapidly with its collaborations, Istanbulkart, apart from transportation and İSPARK parking lots; It offers fast and contactless payment opportunities to Istanbul residents in markets, museums, entertainment sector, restaurants, online shopping and many other areas.

Having signed a new partnership with ŞOK Market, which has 1.897 branches throughout the city, İstanbulkart further expanded its loading and shopping network. Thanks to this cooperation, citizens will be able to top up their cards in ŞOK Markets throughout the city. Also, they will be able to use Istanbulkart as a payment method for their purchases.

Stating that the new cooperation will provide a little more convenience to Istanbul residents, BELBİM AŞ Deputy General Manager Ceyda Ünal said that BELBİM aims to provide sustainable and quality service that will benefit our country and all Istanbul residents with innovative projects.

Ceyda Ünal said, “First of all, using Istanbulkart is very practical and it is very safe due to the contactless payment opportunity. Our aim underlying every innovation we make is to make life easier for Istanbulites. We want to provide convenience to our people not only in transportation but in every part of the city ”.

Stating that Istanbulkart is progressing rapidly in guiding life in the city with a single card, Ceyda Ünal stated that the agreement with ŞOK Market has further grown Istanbulkart in the retail sector.

Ünal said, “Istanbulkart, which is shaped in line with user needs, uses local software in its financial technology (FinTech) infrastructure. He continues to make projects that will add value to the lives of its users with the advantages provided by digitalization ”.
