The Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure stated that the DHMİ Flight Guide application, which is passenger and user friendly with its modern infrastructure and useful interface, continues to be continuously developed to meet the travel and communication needs of the passengers in line with the requirements of the era.

Explaining that the Flight Guide application developed by the State Airports Authority (DHMİ) was started to be used on approximately 3 thousand devices in 44 months, the Ministry stated that the application currently operates on approximately 44 thousand devices; Through My Flight Guide, he reported that nearly 50 thousand people have tracked their flights, 6 thousand people have benefited from free internet service and 1300 people have made HES Code inquiries.

Noting that two new features were added to the My Flight Guide application in November 2020, the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure announced that the web service and HEPP code query service received from the Ministry and the Check-Send service, where citizens can quickly convey their opinions and suggestions about the airports, has been launched. Stating that citizens can benefit from free internet up to 2 gigabytes offered via the mobile application at the airports, the Ministry stated that thanks to the instant notifications to be sent, the flight missions of passengers have also disappeared.

 Instant Flight Tracking application in the air is planned to be activated

The Ministry stated that in the first half of this year, it is planned to offer internal navigation service over floor plans for all airports and to activate the Instant Flight Tracking (Flight Radar) application.

With “My Flight Guide”, which was put into use in October, users can access flight information by sending a message to the DHMİ Flight Information System on Facebook Messenger, a mention to the @dhmiucus information account on Twitter and the DHMİ Flight Information System Application via Turkcell Bip.

My Flight Guide application was put into service on October 15, 2020 with a ceremony held at Esenboğa Airport International Terminal, which was attended by the Minister of Transport and Infrastructure, Adil Karaismailoğlu.
