China is accelerating the development of the industrial internet through integration with 5G technologies. The country aims to create 2023 fully 5G-connected factories by 30 in this process. According to the industrial internet development plan announced by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technologies for the next three years, three to five industrial internet platforms and a 'megaveri' center for the industrial internet will be established by 2023, equipped with an international expansion and influence.

The plan predicts that the three-year period (2021-2023) will be a period of rapid growth of the industrial internet in China. In this process, according to the action plan, the rising commercial dimensions will be the driving factor of smart generation and collaboration based on grid and specific conditions.

In fact, the industrial internet, also known as the internet of things, is geared towards wider adoption of the latest and advanced technologies. These technologies are technologies such as new generation wireless networks, megawares, artificial intelligence and internet of things. The ministry's data show that China already operates 60 industrial internet platforms linked with about 400 million industrial equipment and more than 70 industrial enterprises.
