During his visit to Minister Varank, Kilis Governor Recep Soytürk, Gaziantep Metropolitan Mayor Fatma Şahin, Kilis deputies Mustafa Hilmi Dülger, Ahmet Salih Dal, Kilis Mayor Servet Ramazan and AK Party Kilis Provincial Chairman Murat Karataş were accompanied.

During his visit, Varank stopped by the Haskan Group of Companies facility producing under the brands Baymed, Bayteks and Baypoy. Having received information from Hasan Gürkan Bayram, Chairman of the Board of Haskan Group of Companies, Varank examined the medical fabric production known as nonwoven or non-woven fabric on site.

Making a statement later, Varank said:

We are speeding up our OIZ projects to reveal Kilis's potential. One thousand 300 citizens are employed in our currently operating facilities. We believe that we will create a great employment here as we progress in the Polateli OIZ project in the upcoming period.

We are visiting Bayteks firm of Hasan Bayram gentleman. It operates in a wide variety of sectors, but one of the most important of these is the production of nonwoven fabric, which we call nonwoven fabric. These fabrics are the main raw material of both overalls and masks during the epidemic period.

We got the information from our company. We previously opened factories of different companies operating in the nonwoven sector. Turkey has a very important potential in this sense, the capacity is really high. It has become an important player in the nonwoven industry both in its region and in the international arena.

Our Bayteks company also manufactures in an area that requires very sensitive production, such as operating rooms that we call medical textiles. We visited the production facilities. Medical textile production is carried out, just like a pharmaceutical factory. The fact that there are productions that we can call medium high technology in Kilis makes us very pleased. In the upcoming period, we will both attract investments to Kilis and do our best as the Ministry of Industry and Technology to bring high-tech productions.
