What is Intestinal Alzheimer's, one of the biggest causes of obesity? If not paid attention, what problems will it cause?
Especially if you have been eating a single type recently! Dr. Fevzi Özgönül made very important statements about 'Intestinal Alzheimer's'.
When the intestinal Alzheimer's starts, our brain intestines forget to digest what we eat and we get fat because of the foods we cannot digest. What we cannot digest, not what we eat, makes us fat. The person with intestinal Alzheimer's gets fat because he forgets to digest.
Alzheimer's disease is a degenerative and progressive disease that gradually destroys memory and thinking skills and performing basic functions. In recent years, there are many studies showing that the intestines, which we call 'our second brain', are related to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.
The results suggesting that the deterioration of the gut microbiota may lead to the progression or development of some diseases such as Alzheimer's are quite high. Besides, one of the biggest causes of swelling is that your intestines are Alzheimer's. Just as in Alzheimer's as soon as we forget the events around the brain, the fact that our second brain has Alzheimer's means that our guts do not remember meals and cannot perform the digestion of many foods. If you constantly eat a uniform diet, your intestines get used to what you eat and their active activity decreases.
As such, you cannot digest the food you eat a lot. If you eat bread, sweet and pastry-type meals for a long time, or always eat chicken salad and tuna salad for practical purposes, you actually make your intestines lazy. Just as you practice your brain with puzzle and sudoku or similar applications, practice it so that your intestines can fulfill their real task, that is, digest what you eat: Eat all the healthy options such as olive oil, legumes, soups, meat dishes, salads, pot dishes, do not eat a single type of food. Eat a variety of healthy foods to get rid of forgetful intestines.
Dr. Fevzi Özgönük listed the reasons that cause intestinal alzheimer's and disrupt your digestion as follows:
- Eating a single type of nutrition for a long time, getting used to foods and reducing the work and efficiency of your intestine.
- Simple sugar-based nutrition such as bread, pastry and dessert.
- Having a late breakfast and having an early dinner due to this, complete the day.
- Consume snacks.
- Fructose bombardment, especially due to nighttime fruits.
- Due to all these, the deterioration of the intestinal flora, in other words the invasion of microbiota by pathogenic bacteria, accelerates this process.
