In the first place, Mayor Yavaş, who completed the two-bridge intersection work on Turkish Red Crescent Street, now pushed the button for a new alternative boulevard construction that will put an end to the traffic ordeal of İstasyon Caddesi. THE NEW BULVAR WILL CONSIST OF 4 RAILWAY CROSSING BRIDGES AND 1 UNDERPASS

Within the scope of the 3-phase work carried out by the Metropolitan Municipality Directorate of Science Affairs, the traffic density of the Turkish Red Crescent and İstasyon Street, which is the continuation of the newly opened Ankara Boulevard, will be relieved with the alternative boulevard.

The new boulevard, which will be built as an alternative to Istasyon Street, which is the most important artery of the region carrying Elvankent, Sincan and Etimesgut regions to the city center, will consist of 5 railway crossing bridges and 4 underpass. Within the scope of the protocol made after the approval of the General Directorate of TCDD, the alternative new boulevard, planned as one-way and 1 lanes, will pass through the north of the railway.

A STUDY AFFECTING ABOUT 1,5 MILLION PEOPLE

Approximately 1,5 million people will have safe and comfortable transportation with the solution of the traffic chaos of İstasyon Street, used by the residents of Sincan and Etimesgut districts.

Within the scope of the project that will prevent chronic traffic congestion and ensure life safety; The signalized intersection at 3 different points in the direction of the İstasyon Caddesi City Center will be eliminated and the traffic flow will be made uninterrupted.

After the new boulevard located in the second phase of the project after the works on Turkish Red Crescent Street, the third phase, Hikmet Özer Street Underpass, will be completed and opened to traffic in the oncoming process.
