According to local authorities, more than 2 800G base stations have been built in the Tibet Autonomous Region, located in southwestern China.
Local authorities announced that during the fourth meeting of the 11th Regional People's Congress, mobile phone signals currently cover the entire (Type A) major tourist attractions / sites of the region.
On the other hand, it is known that the construction of other touristic facilities in the region has been accelerated. Moreover, the construction of these facilities takes place within the framework of very difficult natural environmental conditions and in places with an average altitude of 4 thousand meters. There are currently a total of 116 A-type tourist sites / sites in the region. Five of these, including Lhassa's famous Potala Palace, are classified as "level 5A".
