Asphalting work has started on the Hıdırellez Road, which is located on the shore of the Yamula Dam on the north of Erkilet Boulevard in the north of Kayseri and costs 7.5 million TL. Mayor of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç said that the hardworking team of Büyükşehir, which started asphalting works on the Hıdrellez Road in the first days of the new year, continues to turn the weekend restriction into an opportunity.
As it closely concerns the settlements on the shore of the Yamula Dam Lake, the works on the Hıdırellez Road, where the city is best watched, continue in a feverish and selfless manner.
Dangerous bends are completely destroyed and valleys are filled with soil. While the 900-meter-long retaining walls are being built, excavation and filling works are being carried out, in order to protect the road infrastructure in the construction works of the Hıdrellez Road and against a possible flood, 2 box culverts with a total length of 2 meters are built on dry streams.
In addition, trenches were installed to collect water on the road to protect the physical structure of the road and increase driving comfort.
As the asphalting work started on the Hıdırellez Road, which cost 7.5 million TL and will revitalize the region, Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. In his statement on the subject, Memduh Büyükkılıç stated that the hardworking team of Büyükşehir continues to turn the weekend restriction into an opportunity.
Stating that the works are continuing faster, Büyükkılıç said, “In the first days of the new year, the hardworking and devoted team of our Metropolitan Municipality started the asphalting works of the road consisting of 4 lanes, 2 departures and 1 arrival. The road, which will cost approximately 3 million TL, will be a means of vitality for our region when it is ready. It will appeal to the Kızılırmak region and its basin, the Yamula Dam. “We will have an important main artery that will revive Kuşçu Social Facilities”.
On the other hand, within the scope of the project, 3 thousand meters of guardrails will be built to ensure the safety of life and property.
