Stating that the transportation between all cities in the region, especially Diyarbakır and Elazığ, will become easier, more comfortable and fast thanks to the bridge and connection roads, President Erdoğan said, "Especially with the project that makes the traffic in Eğil Junction uninterrupted and safe, significant savings will be made in time and fuel." he spoke.
Stating that the project is a step that will turn into a great gain in the region in terms of holistic development, Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Adil Karaismailoğlu said, “We increased the length of Diyarbakır's divided highway from 10 kilometers to 44 kilometers by increasing it 448 times. With 10 highway projects continuing throughout the city, we will have built more than 214 kilometers. " He spoke in the form.

Diyarbakır Devegeçidi Bridge and Connection Roads Project; It was built within the scope of high-standard crossing of Devegeçidi Valley, located on the Diyarbakır-Ergani Road, which connects Diyarbakır to Elazig. The length of the 1.142 m (2 × 571 m) bridge in the bituminous hot mixture coated split road standard reaches 3 thousand m together with the connection roads.
With the project, which was built by preserving the existing bridges, Devegeçidi Valley was crossed with a bridge crossing system, and the Eğil city road junction was established safely through the junction arms.
With the project aiming to provide safe and comfortable transportation on the Ergani-Elazığ Road, Diyarbakır's gate opening to the north; The high slopes in the valley were improved and the geometric standard of the road was increased.
Within the main business lines of the project; Nearly 2 million m toprak of earthworks, 35 thousand m³ of concrete, 6 thousand tons of reinforced concrete, 793 tons of prestressing steel, 85 thousand tons of Plant Mix Base and Sub-base, 55 thousand tons of Bituminous Hot Mix were manufactured.
