Winners of the national photography contest titled "From Kemeraltı to Kadifekale", organized by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, were announced. 18 people in the categories over 18 and under 384 participated with a total of 700 photos. Jury members consisting of veteran photographers such as Coşkun Aral, İzzet Keribar, Yusuf Tuvi, Birol Üzmez and Mehmet Gökyiğit found 20 photographs worthy of awards and exhibitions after the election they held on January 52. In the category over 18, Nurten Erdal won the first prize, Sezai Özaltın became the second and Zeliha Begöz came third. In the category under 18, where young photographers compete, Lara Nehir Ümek was awarded the first prize, Büşra Eda Okumuş was awarded the second prize, and Arda Tas was awarded the third prize.
