Face-to-face exams held in the first semester will not be included in the report card grade evaluation. In the arrangement made on December 25, 2020, it was announced that there will be no exams when determining the first semester report card grades in primary and secondary schools, and that the existing face-to-face exams will be valid.

In this direction, during the preparation of the first-term report cards in primary and secondary schools, an arrangement was made to relieve the parents about the end-of-term procedures to be made in order to ensure unity in practice, taking into account the needs of the epidemic conditions and the benefit of the students.

In the letter sent to the provinces, it was announced that the face-to-face exams held in the primary school 4th grade and middle school and imam hatip secondary schools in the first term will not be included in the end of term evaluation. However, parents who want to apply to the school directors until January 21, the scores obtained from the exams will be able to request to be included in the report card score evaluation.

On the other hand, taking into account the epidemic conditions and the principle of protecting public health, report card printing and distribution will not be made in the first semester of the school year in primary and secondary schools. Scorecards will be made available electronically.

The issues to be taken into account when determining the first semester report card grade in primary and secondary schools were announced in the statement made on December 25, 2020. Accordingly, while determining the term score, limited to the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year, the end of term procedures for the 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades will continue to be implemented as specified in the relevant regulation; The term score will be calculated with the arithmetic average of the scores of participation in class activities in the 4th grade. In the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th grades, the scores for participation in class activities and the arithmetic average of the project scores, if any, will be calculated with the term point.

If there are also face-to-face exams at these levels, they will not be included in the assessment. Parents who want face-to-face exams to be included in the assessment will have to apply to the school directorate until Thursday, January 21, 2021.
