LATE İBRAHİM COMMANDED CEVAHİR

Starting his speech by talking about the difficulties they faced during the construction of the mosque to be opened for worship, İmamoğlu said, “Dear President, he expressed well: People competing in good deeds provide the peace and welfare of that society. The Cevahir family is a family that also competes for goodness. Our precious İbrahim Cevahir brother is also someone I know well. May Allah grant mercy, let his place be heaven. His sons intended to keep his name alive by producing a work here, building a mosque. His precious friends accompany this process. There are those who compete with goodness here today. Good work has been done. I asked if the imam was assigned; was appointed. I also wish success to our Imam. I hope they will do good services here ”.

"POLITICS CANNOT GET INSIDE THIS DOOR"

Stating that mosques are meeting points of people, İmamoğlu said:

“He gives good advice about life, warns, unites people. Our mosques tell about respect for women and teaching children good morals. This is the focus of unification and meeting. We also lived and lived national solidarity in these mosques. We won the National War of Independence by getting heated in mosques, by going out on the roads and taking to the roads. So these places are the center of our emotions at the highest level. Contains spirituality. No emotion can enter it. Politics; Especially politics can never enter through that door. God forbid, God forbid. This place has no owner. God Almighty. Here we are alone with Allah, the servant is left alone with Allah. Therefore, everyone should respect and respect the spirit of unification and meeting here in harmony. "

"ALLAH KNOWS HOW WE ARE OBSTRUCTED"

Sharing the information that the district mufti did not come to the first prayer even though he was invited, Imamoglu said, “This is not the first thing I have experienced. How we prevent us from building a mosque, how we prevent us from building a condolence house… Almighty Allah knows how we were prevented from working as a mufti, I know the servants also know. Look what I've been through these 7 years; Not new. What if I pray for them, 'May God give reason'. That's all I say, I don't say anything else. May God give them wisdom and mercy on them. Say 'Amen'; they need. Anyone who represents my faith, nobody else can have anything to do with politics. Because I will marrow in front of him and pray. I cannot describe the respect I have for him. I grew up in those stoves. I know respect for an imam and a mufti. I know the street, I know the neighborhood, I know the mosque, I know the Quran course, ”he said.

“TO THE SCIENCE CENTER PROF. AZİZ SANCAR WILL BE NAME "

Noting that they will also finish the mufti building in the area where the mosque is located, İmamoğlu said, “We are doing it as a metropolitan city, we will finish it. It is up to them whether to use it or not. If they don't, we are ready to use it in the most appropriate way for our good faith. We have contributed to this and many other places of worship, and we will continue to do so. I wish the continuation of the existence of our beautiful mosques, which show humility in every point of Istanbul, that attract people, make them feel their warmth and bring people together, and these beautiful mosques, which are the place where the Almighty God is alone with the servant. Expressing his gratitude to Cevahir family and Beylikdüzü Municipality for their great efforts in the construction of the mosque, İmamoğlu said, “From now on, we want this place to be preserved and developed with the same determination and with the same feelings. Our mayor knows his immediate surroundings and my ideas about the arrangement of the building very close to him. I'm sure you will edit it quickly. With the permission of Allah, named after Professor Aziz Sancar, there will be a science and art center right behind it. In other words, a beautiful center is formed where spirituality, science, mind, beauty, valley of life, greenery, nature and life are intertwined. Health for everyone's labor ”.

After the speeches, the recitation of the Qur'an by Mustafa Demir was listened. Imamoglu and the accompanying delegation performed the first Friday prayer in the mosque after the event.
