Within the scope of the "Ropeway Project" to be implemented by the Amasya Municipality, the 380 decare area at the top of the Ferhat Mountain was transferred to the municipality with a protocol signed with the Regional Directorate of Forestry.
Signing the transfer protocol with Amasya Regional Director of Forestry Halil Oflu, Mayor of Amasya Mehmet Sarı emphasized that the project, which he described as his dream and promise, will make a significant contribution to the development of the city in the field of tourism. Explaining the details of the protocol, Mayor Sarı said, “The place of the lift departure station belongs to us. Now there is a starting point. We signed a protocol for the transfer of 380 decares of forest land for our ropeway project. In this region, apart from recreation areas, sports center, bungalow houses, children's entertainment centers, we will have picnic areas that need Amasyalı.
Referring to the fact that they will be deployed in this area on the glass terrace with a bird's eye view of the city, Sarı said, “We expect the people of our city to believe that we will fulfill our promises. They already believe in us on this issue. "There can never be a situation like stepping back from our promise," he said.
