Stating that they transferred the applications to e-government in order to carry out the process faster than in previous periods in the Short Work Allowance, Minister Selçuk said, “During the pandemic period, we launched the Short Work Allowance in a very short time, at an unprecedented pace.
Minister Selçuk stated that efforts will continue in cooperation with all relevant parties in the upcoming processes in order to implement fast, accurate and effective policies.
Stating that they aim to provide services to citizens by using all the possibilities of technology with digitalization, Minister Selçuk said, “10 of the 5 most used services via e-government belong to our ministry. By purifying the services we offer from bureaucracy, we gain economic and time savings. In addition to short-time work allowance applications, for the first time, we have also made it possible to perform 4 / b (Bağ-Kur) configuration application transactions via e-government ”.
New Applications Extended Until 31 January

So far, we have received short work applications for 83.276 employees from 578.086 workplaces via e-government. " he spoke.
Stating that workplaces that did not apply for short-time work allowance before December 31, it became easier to apply, Minister Selçuk said, “If our workplaces that did not apply for Short Work Allowance until December 31 due to coronavirus, they will apply for 31 months for the period after January 2021, 1, if they apply via e-government until January 2021, 3. They will be able to benefit from Short Work Allowance ”.
Minister Selçuk also stated that the workplaces affected by the COVID-19 pandemic process applied for short work until June 30, 2020 and that the short working period was extended until February 2, 28 for 2021 months with the approval of our President.
