The software renovation works carried out by the EGO General Directorate of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide more comfortable, safe and fast transportation to the citizens on the OSB / Törekent-Koru metro line have been completed. No negativity was encountered in the comprehensive test and trial studies.
Planning was made on Saturday, January 30, 2021, and Sunday, January 31, 2021, which coincides with the curfews weekend, to install the new generation signaling system software on the system and trains in the metro fleet. All necessary measures were taken by the General Directorate of EGO in order to complete the work on time and to operate the commercial services smoothly on Monday, February 01, 2021. In the event of various unforeseen negative situations during the study, an additional planning was made to provide transportation by buses.
