Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) carried out a comprehensive cleaning study in the dam basins, taking advantage of the weather temperatures being above seasonal norms. İSTAÇ teams cleared 2 dam basins within the provincial borders of Istanbul from waste within 7 weeks. As is known, Istanbul's water requirement is met from 10 dams in total. However, only Terkos, Sazlıdere, Ömerli, Büyükçekmece, Elmalı, Darlık and Alibey dams remain within the provincial borders.
