Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality is realizing another first. The tender for the Transportation Master Plan, which is among the projects that Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu attaches great importance to and will solve the transportation problem of the city, was made. Mayor Zorluoğlu said "Transportation Master Plan will be beneficial for our Trabzon".
The Metropolitan Municipality is resolving another issue that has been spoken for many years in Trabzon. The tender of the Transportation Master Plan, which is aimed to solve the transportation and traffic problem of Trabzon, was realized. Following the signing of the contract in the coming days, the Transportation Master Plan work will begin.

Trabzon Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Murat Zorluoğlu stated that they have realized the tender of the Transportation Master Plan, on which they have been working diligently for a long time, and said, “First of all, our Transportation Master Plan is good for our city. This issue has been discussed in Trabzon for many years. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we have made the plan for this, the contract has come to the stage to be signed. In the coming days, we will sign the contract and start work ”.
THE CITY'S CONSTITUTION FOR TRANSPORTATION
Emphasizing that the Transportation Master Plan is the constitution of a city in the field of transportation, Mayor Zorluoğlu said, “With the plan, the transportation situation of Trabzon will be examined and revealed in detail with scientific methods. Where is there a transportation problem in the city? How many passengers where? Where do these passengers accumulate? What types of transportation does our people use? Are these means of transport enough? Are the signalization and intersections in a way that can properly carry this transportation? What kind of touches are required? "Is it the most appropriate and optimal means of transport? Bus, tram, metro or light rail? All possibilities will be evaluated in the Transportation Master Plan."
WE WILL GET IMPORTANT RESULTS IN 12 MONTHS
Mayor Zorluoğlu stated that they will implement the Transportation Master Plan together with the dynamics of the city and said, “Our university will also be involved. I hope that we will achieve very important results in the first 12 months. After that, we will sit down and talk about all transportation issues in the city. In order to construct systems such as subway, light rail system, tramway, there must be a Transportation Master Plan. When I went to the Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure to discuss transportation-related issues, the first thing they asked was the Transport Master Plan. They said we had to make this plan first. We are also implementing the Transportation Master Plan. In this sense, public transportation will also be evaluated within this system ”.
