In October, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Istanbul Statistics Office started publishing the "Istanbul Barometer" research, which takes the pulse of the people of Istanbul on many topics from domestic agenda to mood levels, from economic preferences to job satisfaction. The number of people who could not pay their credit card debt increased
Among the participants using credit cards, the number of those who paid the entire credit card statement decreased 36 percent compared to the previous month, the number of those who paid the minimum amount was 33,2 percent, and the number of those who never paid their credit card debt increased to 18,6 percent.
The majority cannot meet unexpected urgent needs
72,6 percent of the participants stated that they could not afford an unexpected urgent expense of one thousand TL and 87,6 percent of 5 thousand TL by their own means.
59,1 percent shop at discount stores
"Which of the outlets did you shop in November?" The stress level of Istanbul residents increased

88,4 percent support inspection of taxis
While 88,4 percent of the participants supported IMM's implementation of inspections and criminal proceedings for taxi drivers who choose passengers based on their distance and victimize their customers, 6,5 percent stated that they did not.
62,3 percent support COVID-19 measures
