TCDD stopped high-speed train, regional and mainline train services in March after the coronavirus epidemic started. Towards the end of May, high-speed train services were resumed. Regional and mainline train services are still not available.

According to the news of Olcay Aydilek from Habertürk; “TCDD Tasimacilik carries passengers with 50 percent capacity on high-speed trains within the scope of combating the epidemic. The number of daily train trips has also been reduced. The number of daily 48 voyages was taken to 20.

TCDD Tasimacilik took another important step last week regarding high-speed train services within the scope of new measures taken against the coronavirus epidemic. “Curfew restrictions” were set for the trips at the weekend. On the Ankara-Konya, Ankara-Eskişehir lines, train services were stopped on weekends because there was "no passenger demand". Previously, two trips were made on the aforementioned lines on weekends.

Ankara-Istanbul, Ankara-Konya high-speed train services continue on weekdays.

So, when will the flights start on these lines? The start date of the expeditions is not yet clear. It is stated that the flights will be restarted after the restriction is lifted and the passenger demand increases.
